MK Issawi Frij slammed on Wednesday a proposal made by Minister of Internal Security Gilad Erdan to prevent the advancement of judges lenient in cases of rock terror. The MK said that “Rock throwers are not on Erdan’s agenda, but rather Israeli democracy.”

According to Frij, “In every other democratic state, a minister who would proposed penalizing judges for their rulings, would immediately be booted from the government. Only here, in this populist state, can Minister Erdan repeat his dictator-like suggestions without anyone in the government and in the coalition condemn him and his proposals.”
