Due to the heavy smog, 30 people were treated at Tzfat’s Ziv Medical Center for shortness of breath and coughing. All 30 suffer from chronic lung disease.
Magen David Adom volunteer paramedics transported a first-grader to the hospital on Tuesday morning, after the boy began to experience difficulty breathing. He remains under medical observation.
