Police and the Israel Security Agency (ISA, also known as the Shabak or Shin Bet) has announced that it arrested a terrorist who was involved in attacks against IDF soldiers during last summer's Operation Protective Edge.

Ihab Abdelrahman Nahl, a 27-year-old from Gaza, was arrested in late July after he requested permission to travel to Qatar for work. He claimed to be a teacher in a program that employs Gazans as teachers.

Nahl belongs to a Salafist group associated with ISIS.
