The Arab Joint List responded to the Knesset’s approval of the first reading of the Counterterrorism Bill and said that the goal of the law is “To depress forms of nationalistic battle launched by the ‘Palestinian’ minority in Israel, and to uproot acts of solidarity with our brethren in Judea, Samaria and Gaza.
“It is saddening that most of the MKs chose to support a law that limits freedom of political activity and harshly violates various freedoms instead of fighting against the ‘occupation’ and its crimes against humanity. That is the true terrorism, not the legitimate ‘Palestinian’ battle for freedom and independence.”
