The Knesset on Wednesday night passed the first reading of the Terrorism Bill, proposed by Justice MInister Ayelet Shaked.
The purpose of the law is to define what an act of terrorism is, as well as to provide tools to law enforcement authorities that help them prevent terrorist attacks.
