Police recently informed a 16-year-old Binyamin resident that he is being placed under administrative detention. According to the order, the youth may remain under house arrest at nights and is banned from having contact with 18 specific people.
The legal defense organization Honenu released a statement claiming that the youth was arrested two weeks ago on suspicion of arson, and was interrogated by the Israel Security Agency (ISA, also known as the Shabak or Shin Bet). He was released after a court ruled that there was no evidence against him.
