The Yamam officer who was wounded during a mission last night (Monday) has recovered consciousness, Rambam Hospital reports.
He was in surgery for several hours while doctors treated his legs for gunshot wounds. His condition is listed as stable.
The officer was wounded while arresting a suspect in the Jenin refugee camp, near Afula.
