Hungary rejects French criticism of the fence it is building to defend its border from Syrian migrants attempting to enter the European Union, a Foreign Ministry state secretary declared on Monday.

State secretary Levente Magyar told Hungary's national news agency MTI that the government rejected all the "mean adjectives and accusations" used by Fabius on Sunday.
