The Chinese government is permitting people whose homes were damaged in the recent Tianjin explosion to sell their apartments to property developers or to request the government for repairs, according to official Xinhua news.
The chemical warehouse explosion killed at least 150 people, and hundreds of local residents have been protesting that they deserve compensation for damage caused.
