ISIS advanced into southern Damascus today (Sunday), where they encountered a group of rebels. More than 25 people were killed in fighting between the two groups, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
Different sources give conflicting accounts of the how much area ISIS currently controls in Damascus. The organization's supporters claim that it holds half of the Qadam neighborhood, while the Observatory says that it is limited to two streets.
