The Syrian military has reportedly killed five people and injured 20 with chlorine gas. The attack, which was reported by rebel forces and Arab media, occurred near the city of Homs.
Forces loyal to dictator Bashar al-Assad have been accused of using chemical weapons dozens of times. Several years ago, US President Barack Obama warned that the use of such weapons would be a "red line," though he still has not taken any direct action against the Syrian government.
