MK Betzalel Smotrich (Jewish Home) ha responded to this afternoon's shooting attack near Kdumim, in which a Jewish man was lightly wounded.
"The results of the stringent rules of engagement have not taken long to come," said MK Smotrich. "Less than a month ago the political leaders chose to tie the IDF's hands with ridiculous rules of engagement. This stringency is an additional step in severely harming Israel's deterrent power against the enemy. Today's attack near my home in Kdumim is a direct result of the political echelon's weakness, a weakness that cannot be accepted."
Smotrich added that "Terror will stop only when we succeed in hitting the enemy relentlessly and return the State of Israel's deterrent power."
