Police in Hungary say that they have arrested an additional person in connection with 71 dead migrants who were found in an abandoned vehicle last week.
Authorities have not released information about the man, but police earlier stated that they were looking for a "Bulgarian national, a male, on suspicion of committing the crime of people smuggling."
Three Bulgarians and one person from Afghanistan had been arrested previously, though all claim that they are innocent. Police suspect that the perpetrators are part of a human-trafficking gang that smuggles people into the European Union.
