A FIFA committee met with Israeli and Palestinian soccer officials today (Wednesday). The committee's goal is to improve relations soccer relations between the two sides.
The group is headed by South African businessman Tokyo Sexwale. Sexwale is also considered a potential president for FIFA.
Palestinian soccer teams have complained that Israeli security checks prevent their players from reaching games. Israeli sports officials countered that they have no control over political issues.
