Deputy Defense Minister Rabbi Eli Ben Dahan applauded the appointment of Brigadier-General Gal Hirsch to the position of Police Commissioner.
“In a reality where the Police Department experiences such hardships, Minister Erdan made the right move in appointing Gal and there is no doubt that he will push the Police Department forwards. The most important task for the new Police Commissioner to take on is to return the nation’s trust in the police,” he said.
