Yair Lapid (Yesh Atid) has criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's conduct towards Iran. Lapid's comments came in response to the announcement by US Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid that he will support the Iran deal.
"The State of Israel cannot allow such a serious crisis to come about by baring our teeth towards the US government," Lapid told Army Radio. "It's already beyond Obama versus Netanyahu - it's Israel against the United States. Our security deterrence has been seriously damaged. I am constantly talking with people in the US and around the world because the Arab world is looking at us and saying, 'Great. We managed to create a divide between the Americans and the Israelis.'"
