South Korean President Park Geun-hye has announced that her country will continue to operate loudspeakers on the border with North Korea until the Pyongyang government apologizes for its actions.

The loudspeakers broadcast propaganda messages. They were recently reinstated after two South Korean soldiers were injured by landmines, which the government claims that North Korea recently placed.

President Park added that, should North Korea not apologize, her government would take "appropriate" steps.
