An Egyptian branch of ISIS has taken credit for a car bomb near Cairo's National Security office Wednesday night.

The group made the claim on Twitter, in a post stating that it was a response to the execution of six ISIS members who were found guilty of being involved in terror attacks last year.

Earlier today, an Egyptian security source claimed that ISIS and the Muslim Brotherhood are working together. He claimed that the Muslim Brotherhood carried out the attack, but ISIS has taken credit in order to protect its new partner from international criticism.
