President Barack Obama will address the North American Jewish community next Friday, August 28 at 2:10 p.m. ET, it was announced on Thursday.

Obama, who will discuss the Iran agreement, will participate in a live webcast to deliver remarks to and take questions from participants across the United States and Canada in an event co-sponsored by the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations and The Jewish Federations of North America. The two groups have hosted previous webcasts and forums on the Iran nuclear agreement with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, U.S. Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz, Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs Director General Dore Gold and former IDF Head of Military Intelligence Amos Yadlin.
