MK Haneen Zoabi (Arab Joint List) has commented on the decision to temporarily withdraw Mohammed Allan's detention order.
"I said today that Muhammed will be free, and from this moment he is free. The Supreme Court decision is a good and correct one, but incomplete. The country must pledge to not carry out another political arrest on him - because that is what it was," said MK Zoabi. "This is an important victory for Mohammed, but the struggle is not over. We must remember the other 400 administrative detainees, and continue to fight for their freedom."
Allan, a member of Islamic Jihad, was diagnosed with brain damage following a prolonged hunger strike.
