The United States announced on Tuesday night that it is consulting with other UN nations regarding placing sanctions on sources impeding the peace process with South Sudan.
US National Security Advisor Susan Rice said that Washington is examining the possibility of placing sanctions if a deal is not signed with the Sudanese government within 15 days.
