As per statements made by senior members of the PLO (Palestinian Liberation Organization) according to which Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas will soon make an official visit to Iran, sources in Iran have denied the reports.
Assistant to the Chairman of the Iranian Parliament’s International Affairs Department was quoted saying that his country even turned down Abbas’ request to visit the country.
