The head of Thailand’s Police Department said on Wednesday morning that the man suspected of this week’s terror attack in central Thailand, which claimed the lives of roughly 20 people and wounded over 120 more, did not act on his own. Instead, the terrorist was part of a “network,” the police chief said.
The police chief added that at this time it is unclear what the suspect’s origins are. The Bangkok Post reported on Tuesday that the police fear the suspect is a man of Middle Eastern descent.
