Opposition leader, MK Yitzhak Herzog, met on Tuesday with Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas.
“In a war on terror there is no compromise. We must prevent a third intifada,” Herzog said following the meeting. “That means a war against terror that is without compromise. On this matter I am even more extreme than Netanyahu. On the other hand, we must give hope to the nations by initiating brave measures that will return us to negotiations binding the leaders as well as the nations. We must not worry and must not fear. I am convinced that if there is a will, we will be able to reach an agreement that will ensure security within two years.”
