Bangladesh arrested three people, including one British citizen, on suspicion that they murdered two well-known atheist bloggers.
A spokesperson for the Rapid Action Battalion, the elite unit that carried out the arrest, said, "We've arrested them in the capital today. We can confirm that [Touhidur] Rahman is a Bangladesh origin British citizen. He is the main planner of the attacks on Avijit Roy and Ananta Bijoy Das."
Rahman is believed to be a leader in the Ansarullah Bangla Team, a terrorist group that was banned in May.
Four anti-religion bloggers have been murdered in Bangladesh this year, several of whom were hacked to death by machetes.
