Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the Northern Command base today (Tuesday). While there, he commented on the Iranian president and foreign minister that they "will not allow any American influence" on the Islamic Republic.
Prime Minister Netanyahu told those present, "Iran is advancing its nuclear program with the declared aim of destroying Israel. I am here in order to take a close look at the IDF's preparedness against such an enemy. The IDF is strong and the State of Israel is strong. We are ready for any scenario, anyone who tries to attack us - we will strike them."
Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon (Likud) and IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eizenkot also took part in the visit.
