A legislator from Pakistan's opposition was shot today (Tuesday) in the southern city of Karachi. Abdul Rashid Godil, a member of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, was in his car when an unknown assailant fired.
Godil survived, though his driver was killed.
Deputy Inspector General told Reuters that "Mr. Rashid has suffered multiple gunshot wounds. He is being treated at a private hospital."
