Russia and Iran have declared that the armed groups in Syria must work with representatives from the governing regime in order to decide dictator Bashar al-Assad future.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his Iranian counterpart, Mohammad Javad Zarif, told reporters that Moscow supports Assad. He added that Russia does not agree with other countries that Assad must be removed from power.
