Traffic police officers on Monday night located a truck driver who was suspected of hitting an elderly man on Yafo Street in downtown Haifa, injuring him seriously and then fleeing the scene.
The driver, also an elderly man from the Sharon region, was questioned and released under restrictive conditions.
