Two major shipping companies, MSC and Maersk, have come to an agreement with the port of Haifa. According to the deal, the companies' ships will dock at the port on their way from China, South Korea, and Singapore.
The first ship to take advantage of this deal is the Maersk Gustav. It carries 10,000 containers and will dock in Haifa once per week, as stipulated in the contract.
