The head of the Efrat Municipal Council, Oded Raviv, has criticized MK Avi Dichter's (Likud) suggestion to separate the roads in Judea and Samaria. According to MK Dichter's plan, only Jewish drivers would be allowed on some roads, while others would be restricted to Arabs.

"Millions of people live in Judea and Samaria. The vast majority live in a state of coexistence and are not interested in terror," said Raviv. He added, "Dichter's proposal for separate streets, like the plan to build the separation barrier, means collective punishment against the majority who do not take part in terror. This is in addition to the moral failure of both plans."

Dichter made his suggestion this morning (Sunday) on the Galei Israel radio station, saying that it would be one solution to the increasing number of terror attacks.
