Jewish-American rapper, Matisyahu, was taken off the roster at a Spanish Reggae festival, due to the rapper’s refusal to declare himself in favor of a “Palestinian State,” Spanish media reports.
The reports indicate that the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement placed pressure on the festival’s organizers to cancel Matisyahu’s performance, maintaining that the rapper represents Israel, leading to a number of artists to withdraw their participation.
