Iran denies reports that it has closed the main border crossing with Turkey, following the burning of an Iranian truck on the Turkish side of the border.
"All the country’s land borders… including the one in Bazargan, are open and traffic is passing through," said Interior Ministry Director General Majid Agha-Babaie told a state news agency. He added that "None of the border [crossings] are closed and none will be."
This contradicts an earlier comment by the road traffic organization chief, who claimed that traffic into Turkey through Bazargan was stopped.
