‘Attacking the President is Like Attacking the State”

State Comptroller Justice Yosef Shapira expressed on Tuesday his support of President Reuven Rivlin in light of harsh statements made against him over the past few days.

“Attacking the President, the first and most significant symbol of the State of Israel, is like attacking the State itself. We must thwart any attempt to commit such an attack,” Shapira said.
