Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with the Israeli Special Olympic team today (Tuesday). The team returned from competing in Los Angeles last week.
"I want to congratulate you from the depths of my heart. We are proud of you, all the Jewish people and citizens of the country are proud of you," said Prime Minister Netanyahu. "Sixty-two medals - what a great achievement."
He added, "I greatly admire this and I wan to tell you that you brought great pride and great respect to the State of Israel and to yourselves."
