Turkey has carried out a series of air strikes against Kurdish militants over the past two days, according to a military statement. Seventeen targets were hit in the southeastern region of Hakkari.
There is no report on casualties, or measures taken to avoid harming non-combatants.
The Turkish government and the Kurdistan Workers Party have increased their attacks on each other recently. At least nine members of Turkish security forces were also killed yesterday (Monday).
