The Ministry of Communications has given out 4G frequencies to cell phone companies. The frequencies were sold in January, but a number of delays and technical issues pushed off the allocations until now.
HOT Mobile, Pelephone, and Partner (formerly Orange) will begin offering their customers 4G services within the next few days. Cellcom and Golan Telecom will not be able to provide full 4G service until they resolve their joint network problems.
