The Yehuda Amichai Prize for Hebrew Poetry for this year was awarded on Sunday evening to poets Amira Hass and Dory Manor.

Culture Minister Miri Regev said at a ceremony in Jerusalem's Mishkenot Sha'ananim neighborhood that it is her obligation is to look out for the needs of writers and poets in Israel without discrimination, and added that she had established a committee to re-examine the authors’ law, so that authors will not be negatively affected.
