The death toll from the horrific earthquake which devastated Nepal on Saturday has now surpassed 2,400, Reuters has just reported.
Aftershocks of a 6.7 magnitude caused avalanches in the Himalayas, raising the death toll and number of injured as well.
The 7.9 magnitude earthquake is the worst recorded since 1934, which resulted in 8,500 deaths.
