Attorney Eldad Yaniv (Labor), appealed to the Central Elections Committee to ban Israeli media from broadcasting live Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s speech at the US Congress next month.
Yaniv indicated that it is clear that Netanyahu’s speech, which will be broadcast on various media outlets, will include violations against elections rules. In order to avoid harsh infractions, he demanded that the Chairman of the Central Elections Committee issue a ban on broadcasting the speech live.
