IDF forces observed Palestinian Arabs throwing large rocks in a dangerous manner at drivers while on an operation to stop the stone-throwing attacks near Tapuah Junction.
While trying to arrest one of the suspects, the man was shot and wounded. Army sources said that medical treatment was administered on the spot, but the Arab died from the injury.
