130 people were evacuated from an Italian ferry liner that caught on fire, and were transferred to a nearby cargo ship. Another 316 passengers and crew members remain on board the ferry. Seven more boats, helicopters and a rescue plane have been dispatched to the scene of the fire.
It was earlier (Sunday) reported that the ferry burst into flames while making its way from western Greece to Italy.
