United States President Barack Obama declared the end of America's "outdated approach" to Cuba Wednesday.
After a 45 minute conversation with Cuban President Raul Castro, Obama announced at a press conference the re-establishment of diplomatic relations as well as economic and travel connections with the communist island.
"Isolation has not worked," Obama said from the White House. "It's time for a new approach."
