Three Syrian Children Brought to Ziv Hospital for Treatment

Three Syrian children who were injured by a shell that exploded in their yard while they were playing were brought in today (Shabbat) to the Ziv Medical Center in Tzfat.

A 7 1/2 year old boy suffered serious wounds to the chest and an exposed fracture to his arm. A 10 year old boy was also in serious condition due to shrapnel in his entire torso, and the third child - and 8 year old little girl - was brought in in moderate condition with a crushed ankle. Several other children they were playing with perished in the incident.

Up to now, the Ziv Medical Center has treated 376 Syrian victims of the civil war in that country of whom 50 have been children.
