Turkey Prepared to Deal with Armenian Genocide Issue

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Tuesday that his country is prepared to cope with the 100-year-old Armenian genocide issue, but is still avoiding calling the past events a ‘genocide.’

Erdogan repeated his call to the Armenian nation to investigate the matter together with the Turkish government. Last week, a Turkish leader first expressed his condolences for the descendants of Armenians killed by the Ottoman army during the First World War.
