MK Yisrael Eichler (United Torah Judaism) submitted on Monday a bill to the Knesset that would require the Israeli government to compensate businesses and companies in Judea, Samaria and eastern Jerusalem should they be harmed by possible international boycotts.

"Without going into the political debate, anti-Semitic motives are hidden in the very boycott of Jewish businesses,” said Eichler. According to the bill, the criteria for receiving the compensation would be determined by a committee established by the government.
