US Secretary of State John Kerry is considering arranging a trip to Israel in order to make a special speech to the Israeli public, in the style of a"State of the Nation" address, according toa report by Ben Caspit of The Post.
According to the report, Kerry has spoken to members of the diplomatic community to assess the feasibility of his making such a speech. Caspit noted that Kerry said it was not his intention to "go over the heads" of local leadership.
