The terrorist who stabbed to death a 19-year-old soldier who was sleeping on a bus in Afula on Wednesday came from a family of terrorists. 16-year-old Hussein Sharif Ghawadra was arrested trying to flee the scene. After he stabbed the soldier, other passengers prevented him to attacking others and police apprehended him.
The suspect is from Bir al-Basha, a Palestinian Authority assigned community near Jenin. According to Maan News Agency, four of his cousins were handed life sentences for deadly terrorist attacks. One cousin, Muhammed Juwadra, was convicted of shooting to death a Bezeq telephone company employee in 2003 and other attacks.
