Yehuda Glick Starts Hunger Strike

Chairman Yehuda Glick of the Temple Mount Heritage Foundation started a hunger strike on Sunday to protest the decision of the police to bar him from going up on the Temple Mount without explaining why, despite his best efforts to find out.

Interviewed by Arutz Sheva's Hebrew service, he said the holy site is the center of his life and livelihood. He noted that he has brought hundreds of groups to the Temple Mount without any claims being brought against him for violating police instructions. He said the hunger strike would continue until he is allowed to return to the Temple Mount or the police take him to court where he can get a ruling on any claims against him.
