Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat is backed by 47.6% of local residents in next week's election, while candidate Moshe Lion is receiving 28.2%, according to a poll published on Friday. Another candidate, Moshe Epstein, is supported by only 3.1% of Jerusalem residents.
According to the poll, 56.6% of Jerusalem's hareidi-religious population support Lion, 8.2% support Barkat, and 6.9% back Epstein. The percentage of undecided voters among hareidim is especially high at 28.3%.
